Yoshimori was a disciple of Kuniyoshi, having joined his school at a young age. He closely followed Kuniyoshi's artistic style, producing warrior prints, contemporary event prints, and bird-and-flower paintings. His works include "Illustration of an Englishman", "Five Nations" , and "Panoramic View of Yokohama at Minatozaki" , which are categorized as "Yokohama-e" . However, his depictions of foreign visitors sightseeing in Edo, such as those found in "Famous Places in the Eastern Capital" and other works, are considered rare. He also contributed to collaborative projects such as "The Imperial Procession on the Tōkaidō" and "The Fifty-Three Stations of the Fan". Later, he adopted the name Kōsai and continued his artistic pursuits. During the Meiji period, he temporarily worked as a lower-ranking government official at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
