美人画のイメージが強い英泉ですが、風景画の名品も残しています。
英泉と広重が合作のかたちで天保6年頃に完成させた「木曽街道六十九次」は、全72図のうちの24図が英泉の筆によるものです。版元・保永堂の竹内孫八が企画し、当初は英泉が絵師を務めていましたが、その後広重に引き継がれ、版元も保永堂と錦樹堂の共版となりました。
また、英泉の落款は初版の刷のみに見ることができ、それ以降の刷では版面から削り取られています。

Although Eisen has a strong image as a painter of beauties, he also left behind masterpieces of landscapes.
Eisen and Hiroshige completed "Kiso Kaido 69 Tsugi" (The 69 Stations of the Kiso Kaido) in collaboration around 1835, and 24 of the 72 works in the series were by Eisen. Magohachi Takenouchi of the publisher Hoeido planned the project, and Eisen was initially the artist but was later taken over by Hiroshige, and the publishers were Hoeido and Kinjudo. Eisen's signature can be seen only on the first printing.
