井出岳水は、明治から昭和にかけて活動した版画作家。
日本大学芸術学部を卒業後、荒井寛方の門人として絵を学んだ。
第二次世界大戦までの17年間中国で活動したが、昭和24年からは渡辺版画店と協力して花鳥画を制作。力強くのびのびとした線は、古邨などの同時期の花鳥画とはまた異なる風情を持つ。

Ide Gakusui was a printmaking artist active from the Meiji period to the Showa period.
After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, he studied painting as a pupil of Arai Kanpo.
After that, he had spent 17 years in China until the Second World War, and from 1949 he collaborated with Watanabe to produce flower and bird prints.
His strong, spontaneous lines have a different unique feel to the prints of his contemporaries artists such as Koson.
