吉田博の長男である遠志は、アメリカ各地をキャンピングカーで周りながら制作を行い、父から受け継いだ伝統木版画の技法を広く世界に普及させた。
また、野生動物を求めて南極やアフリカにも訪れ、動物の動きや様子をくまなく観察し、その本質に迫った作品を多く残している。
描かれた動物たちは、その種の生き様までも写し取られており、遠志が動物や自然に抱いていたであろう畏敬の念も見て取れる。

Tōshi Yoshida, the eldest son of Hiroshi Yoshida, traveled across the United States in a camper while producing his works, helping to spread the traditional woodblock printing techniques he inherited from his father to a wider international audience.
He also traveled to places such as Antarctica and Africa in search of wildlife, carefully observing the movements and behavior of animals and creating many works that capture their essential nature.
The animals depicted in his prints seem to embody the very way of life of their species, revealing the deep sense of reverence for animals and nature that Yoshida must have held.
