柴田是真（しばたぜしん）は江戸時代末から明治にかけて活動した漆工家、絵師・日本画家である。11歳の年で蒔絵を学び、16歳からは鈴木南嶺に四条派の絵を学んだ。
国芳が是真の扇絵に感動し弟子入りを申し入れ、号をもらったという逸話も残る。

Shibata Zeshin was a lacquerer, painter, and Japanese-style painter active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period. He learned maki-e at the age of eleven, and from the age of sixteen, he studied the Shijo school of painting under Suzuki Nanrei.
There is an anecdote that Kuniyoshi was so impressed by Koreshin's fan paintings that he asked him to be his apprentice and Zeshin gave him the name "仙真".
