小野らしいフォルムで描かれた人物や動物は、その少ない線で多くを語っている。
小野忠重は昭和７年に新版画集団を設立し、労働者や民衆の生活を題材にした作品を制作する。その後は木版陰刻などの手法により独自のマチエールを持った作風を確立していった。版画史や古地図、浮世絵の研究者でもある。

In the blazing heat of midsummer, it seems that it's not just humans who are weary of the heat. People and animals depicted in Ono's distinctive style speak volumes with their minimal lines.
Ono Tadashige established a new printmaking group in 1932, creating works depicting the lives of workers and the general populace. Subsequently, he developed his own unique style using techniques such as woodblock intaglio. He is also known as a researcher of printmaking history, old maps, and Ukiyo-e.
