Size: Ko-ban
Impression: Good
Condition: Good

The composition captures the snow-covered banks of the Nogawa River, snow-laden trees, and subtle figures or boats moving quietly through the tranquil white world. Incorporating the atmospheric light of kosen-ga (light-ray prints) alongside fine gradations (bokashi) characteristic of modern Japanese painting, the piece skillfully uses tones of white and grey to convey the crisp chill and profound silence of winter. Through a restrained color palette, it beautifully encapsulates the poetic beauty and quiet elegance of Japan's seasonal landscape.
