This work dramatically captures a small bird flying through the quiet stillness of a persistent rain shower, skimming behind autumn begonias with their rain-soaked red and pink blossoms. Delicate lines of rain cover the entire composition, while the flowers’ moist, glistening texture and the silhouette of the bird emerging against the dark background create a wonderfully evocative atmosphere.
